About
Notes and essays on machine learning, software, and the occasional book — written down before I forget.
I’m Utkarsh Upadhyay — a machine-learning researcher who researches, codes, blogs, and makes stuff. This is where the writing lives; the rest of me is over at musicallyut.xyz.
This site used to sit at http://utkarshu.in and http://musicallyut.blogspot.com, then moved to Jekyll on GitHub Pages, where it has stayed happily ever since.
Colophon
Set in Fraunces (display & reading), Inter (interface & metadata), and JetBrains Mono (code). Paper-and-ink palette with a single terracotta accent; light and dark.
Built with Jekyll and served by GitHub Pages. Footnotes are written as plain markdown and lifted into the margin as sidenotes on wide screens.1
a feed reader, the notes simply appear at the foot of the page instead.
